Ventura County Fire Department's 40th Training Academy Structure Burn


The Ventura County Fire Department’s 40th Training Academy, which included personnel from Ventura City Fire, conducted a Live Structure Training Burn on the property of the Valley Bible Community Church, 4450 Barnard Street, Simi Valley. This location is north of Hwy. 118 and east of Tapo Street in Simi Valley.

Fire personnel ignited fires in three single-family dwellings and trained on structure fire suppression tactics, safety, communications, fire behavior, and water application techniques.
