Scanning Central & Northern California Frequencies website celebrates five years on the Internet

Since Scanning Central & Northern California Frequencies was born in August of 1997, the site has received in excess of 72,047 hits to the day they left Yahoo/Geocities. The new domain, scancal.org has received 15,000 hits since April! Mike Motroni, webmaster of Scanning Centeral & Northern California Frequencies, "Special thanks to all the contributors who have and continue to support the site. If it weren't for the readers and contributors, this site would not be where it is today."

Mike Motroni is credited with coordinating the efforts of radio scanner websites in California, seamlessly networking them together to cover the entire State of California.
