New [Simi Valley Police] canine team hits the streets

The Simi Valley Police Department's newest crime-fighting team has hit the streets. Officer Christopher Martin and his canine partner, Dax, attended the Inglis Police K9 Academy in February, completing four weeks of intensive training and then passed the Peace Officers Standards and Training certification for assignment to patrol operations.
