North San Diego Emergency Radio System

In San Diego County (North County specifically) there are three repeater systems on the ham band. They are used as emergency repeaters for disasters, public service events, etc. and are monitored by the system owner. They ALL are connected to consoles, and all of them have voting systems (they sound like PD repeaters!). The repeaters are open to general amateur use but are mainly very quiet except for emergency and public service use.
