The dates have been formally announced in the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base newspaper, Desert Airman, that the Annual Air Combat Command Heritage Conference will be held from Marth 1st to March 4th.
This is a very cool event and is the training background needed before these pilots flying in the Heritage Aircraft Formations must qualify in, at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. These pilots fly to the various airshows around the United States and Canada and normally perform in a 3 or 4 ship formation for you.
There are 8 demonstration teams and they'll be flying the following aircraft during the conference:
Look to the skies around Davis-Monthan AFB if you are in Tucson on these dates and don't be surprised to hear the sweet sounds of 3 Mustangs in formation buzzing overhead. Don't forget to have your camera with you, wherever you go. They do not just fly around the base. They'll fly up near the Catalina Mountains, providing an awesome backdrop, if you're lucky enough to catch it
