Tour of Fireboat 2
Jack (I didn't catch his last name) took us on a tour of the Ralph J. Scott. Here he's pointing out the yellow devices that are used to spray the underside of piers with water during a fire. Think of them as a fireline attached to a floatation device.
Water Main
This water pipe feeds the big nozzel on top of the boat.

Diesels
Several diesel engines run the pumps and drive the boats propeller shafts. The white padded pipes are the exhaust pipes. The boat is driven by three screws (propellers).
