There
was a traffic collision on the 118 freeway as I was making my way home
from work on Tuesday. Since I was in the slow lane on the opposite side of
the freeway there was no way I could stop to assist. It looked like
everyone was out of their vehicles and on their cell phones so I figured
help was on it's way.
After passing the scene of the accident I exited the freeway at the next off ramp, found a parking lot near an over pass and took a few photos. The first on scene was a CHP officer and as soon as the officer pulled up this fellow, who looked like he stopped to help, got back in his car and drove off. I didn't think much of this until I returned home and looked up the incident on the CHP CAD. I suspect this fellow wasn't involved in the accident since his vehicle wasn't damaged, but had stopped to help.
